No es el formato. He probado en JPG y tampoco.
Que alguien revise los permisos de escritura/modificación en las carpetas heredadas en el servidor, porfa!

No puedes subir imágenes.
Comprueba que los permisos para esta carpeta mkportal/modules/gallery/album/tmp si son (CHMOD 777).
Y después del rollo será que no he marcado alguna casilla, o que no acepta el formato png...
